愛斯基摩人成為全球暖化首批氣候難民

地球暖化日益嚴重，全球民眾受害，而住在北極圈附近的愛斯基摩人更是首當其衝，因為他們居住的極地小島日漸縮小，有可能遭海水淹沒，因此迫使他們遷移，這使得愛斯基摩人成為全球第一批氣候難民。根據紀錄，美國阿拉斯加地區的氣溫過去30年上升了攝氏4度，導致冰河溶化，海水上升，當地一座小島「沙里契夫」的面積已經減半，北極圈內許多愛斯基摩村莊都面臨不保威脅。當地一名愛斯基摩人說，全球暖化使得他們週遭的風浪一年比一年大，土地流失一年比一年嚴重，漁獲量也不如從前，不少村民已經陸續遷移，但仍有不少人因為經濟無力負擔，留在原地，前途未卜。
